SNP's Angus MacDonald is Brightons' MSP

Angus MacDonald will be MSP for Brightons for the next five years.

The SNP candidate took the Falkirk East constituency with a majority of 3,535 votes.

Here are the results in full:

Angus MacDonald - SNP - 14,302
Cathy Peattie - Labour - 10,767
Lynn Monro - Conservative - 2,372
Ross Laird - Liberal Democrat - 727
